(a) No person, firm, co-partnership, corporation, association or any other organization, or any combination thereof, shall engage in a business, perform any work or act in the capacity of a contractor within the Village without first registering with the Village to perform such work or engage in such business.
(b) No registration and building permits shall be issued by the Inspector of Buildings unless before issuing such registration and permits, a contractor shows satisfactory evidence that the contractor has the ability and is qualified to perform the work for which the application for registration is submitted.
(c) Any contractor who constructs, alters, repairs, adds to, subtracts from, reconstructs or remodels any public, industrial, commercial or residential building or structure, or appurtenance thereto, shall have a plumber to manage and supervise any plumbing work to be performed in connection therewith. Such plumber shall be duly licensed by the State of Ohio to perform such plumbing work.
(d) Any contractor who constructs, alters, repairs, adds to, subtracts from, reconstructs or remodels any public, industrial, commercial or residential building or structure, or appurtenance thereto, shall have a electrician to manage and supervise any electrical work to be performed in connection therewith. Such electrician shall be duly licensed by the State of Ohio to perform such electrical work.
(e) Any general contractor who will also be performing any of the particular types of work listed in Section 1446.01(b) to (m) shall be registered pursuant to law to perform each such particular type of work in addition to being registered as a general contractor.
