(a) Uses Permitted by Right. A use listed in Schedule 1270.02 shall be permitted by right as a principal use in a district when denoted by the letter "P" provided that all requirements of other Village ordinances and this Zoning Code have been met.
(b) Conditional Uses. A use listed in Schedule 1270.02 shall be permitted as a conditional use in a district when denoted by the letter "C", provided the Planning Commission first makes the determination that the requirements of Chapter 1294 have been met according to the procedures set forth in Chapter 1258.
(c) Accessory Uses. A use listed in Schedule 1270.02 shall be permitted as an accessory use in a district when denoted by the letter "A". Such use shall be permitted as a subordinate building or use when it is clearly incidental to and located on the same lot as the principal building or use. Accessory uses are further regulated in subsequent sections of this Zoning Code.

(a) All lots within the Industrial Districts shall comply with the minimum requirements set forth in Schedule 1270.03.

(a) The following regulations are established to regulate the design and development of buildings in the Industrial Districts. Every building in the I-1 Limited Industrial District and the I-2 Industrial District shall be located on a lot in compliance with the setback and spacing requirements set forth in Schedule 1270.04.

Buildings and structures shall comply with the height regulations set forth below:
(a) Principal buildings shall not exceed a height of two stories or fifty feet whichever is less.
(b) Accessory buildings shall not exceed a height of eighteen feet.
(c) Chimneys, flagpoles, water tanks and other mechanical appurtenances may be erected above such maximum height, but are limited to a height not exceeding seventy-five feet above finished grade.

Accessory uses, buildings, and structures permitted in Industrial Districts are enumerated below and shall conform to the requirements of this Code.
(a) Setback Requirements. Accessory uses, buildings, and structures shall meet all the building setback requirements of Schedule 1270.04, unless otherwise specified in this Code.
(b) Off-Street Parking and Loading. Off-street parking and loading areas shall conform to the minimum parking setback requirements specified in Schedule 1270.04, and shall otherwise conform to the regulations of Chapter 1292.
(c) Fences and Walls. Fences and walls shall be permitted accessory uses provided they comply with Chapter 1298, Landscaping, Screening, and Outdoor Lighting Regulations.
(d) Satellite Dishes. Satellite dishes shall be a permitted accessory use.

In all Industrial Districts, all exterior wall areas of each elevation of any building or other structure erected, or the expansion of existing buildings and other structures, shall be constructed of brick, split faced block or similar masonry or other type of material as may be approved by the Planning Commission.

(a) All machinery, equipment, raw or other material and all operations required in the use of the premises shall be enclosed within a building or structure or stored outdoors in such nature so as to conceal all such items from the view of any persons standing at the nearest residential district line and at the street or road lines of the nearest public streets.
(b) Storage of all materials shall be designed and arranged so as to be accessible to fire fighting equipment and in compliance with standards established by the American Insurance Association.
(c) No road or driveway serving one or more premises in an Industrial District shall have connection with or discharge traffic into a residential district of the Village other than on Alexander Road.
(d) All buildings and each tenant space occupied within the Industrial District shall have displayed at every entrance to the building and tenant space, the address of the building and, in the case of a multi-tenant building, the tenant space number. All such identification of the building and/or tenant space shall be located and sized as prescribed by the Fire Inspector.
(e) All outside storage of materials, equipment, and fleet vehicles shall conform to the principle building setbacks.
