§ 94.069 WATER SKIING, REGULATIONS FOR USE.
   (A)   License.
      (1)   It is unlawful for any person to ski on the lake, unless he or she has a current license to do so issued by the City Clerk.
      (2)   A seasonal license, valid from May 30 through September 30 of the year in which issued, may be obtained under this section, upon payment of a fee as set by the Council by motion or resolution. If a person holds such a seasonal license, other members of his or her immediate family living in his or her home may obtain a similar license upon payment of a fee as set by the Council for each such license.
      (3)   A daily license, valid only for the day for which issued, may be obtained under this section, upon payment as set by the Council.

   (B)   Minimum length of skis; skis to be easily removed. Skis used on the lake shall be not less than five feet in length, and shall be constructed so as to permit easy removal. Skis available on the commercial market shall be deemed to comply with this section.

   (C)   Minimum length of towline. Any line or rope used to tow a skier on the lake shall be at least 30 feet in length.

   (D)   Life jackets. It is unlawful for any person to ski on the lake, or to operate or ride in a boat towing a skier, unless he or she is wearing a regulation life jacket.

   (E)   Boat not to tow more than two skiers. Not more than two skiers shall be towed on the lake by the same boat at the same time.

   (F)   Towboat meeting or passing other boats. Boats towing skiers on the lake shall keep to the right of other boats approaching from the opposite direction and shall pass to the left of other boats proceeding in the same direction.
