(A) No motor vehicles with an internal combustion engine shall be operated within the city unless the exhaust from such engine is muffled by a suitable and sufficient muffler in good working order.
(B) No muffler cut-out, by-pass, exhaust, or vacuum whistle shall be used on any motor vehicle while operating within the city.
(C) No person shall modify the exhaust system of a motor vehicle in any manner which will amplify or increase the noise or sound emitted louder than that emitted by the muffler originally installed on the vehicle.
