§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   (1)   Obedience to Traffic Code.
         (a)   It is an offense against the city for any person to do any act forbidden or to fail to perform any act required by this chapter.
         (b)   It is an offense against the city for the parent of any child or for the guardian of any ward to authorize or knowingly permit any such child or ward to violate any of the provisions of this title.
         (c)   It is an offense for any person to authorize or knowingly to permit any vehicle registered in his or her name to be driven or to stand or to be parked in violation of any of the provisions of this title.
      (2)   Penalties. Every person violating any of the provisions of this title containing the traffic laws of the city shall be guilty of an offense and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined or punished as provided in § 10.99.

   (B)   Any person failing to stop or to comply with any of the requirements of § 70.27 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, may be punished as provided in § 10.99.

   (C)   An owner or operator who fails to produce for inspection a valid and current security verification form or equivalent form which has been issued by the Department upon request of any peace officer of the Department shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be subject to a fine as provided in § 10.99.
