§ 52.36 METER INSTALLATIONS AND TESTS.
   Every customer shall provide a suitable place where a meter can be installed, and if at any time the customer desires to have the meter tested for accuracy, the same shall be done by the municipality and a fee of the testing charged therefor to the custom or if the meter registers 98% (or more than 98%) accurate. If the meter registers less than 98% accurate, it shall be replaced. In the event a meter is damaged because of neglect, carelessness, or some fault of the consumer, such meter shall be repaired or replaced at the expense of such consumer, and such cost shall be added to the next water bill rendered to such customer.
