§ 52.21 UNLAWFUL USE OF CONTAINERS.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to damage, displace or to otherwise interfere with garbage containers or the contents thereof. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to place solid waste in a container without the authorization of the owner of the container. It shall be unlawful for any person to place solid waste generated by a commercial, non-profit or industrial establishment or enterprise in a residential container unless the commercial, non-profit or industrial establishment or enterprise has been designated a small business source. It shall be unlawful for any person other than a duly authorized law enforcement officer, the town or its designee or a person authorized by the owner or authorized user of a waste container to inspect or remove any contents from a container. It shall be unlawful for any person to get into a container, except for the purpose of cleaning the same. The provisions of this section apply to all solid waste containers including recyclable containers and commercial containers.
