(A) Specifications. All traps, except grease traps, shall be of the same diameter as the pipes. They shall have at least a one and one-fourth inch seal, and shall be crown vented to protect from syphonage; they shall also be provided with a trap screw for cleaning.
(B) Grease traps.
(1) Outside building. Grease traps on the outside of a building shall be properly vented and made of cement, earthenware, or brick, and shall not be less than 12 inches in diameter.
(2) Inside building. Inside grease traps shall be made of lead or cast iron, having an airtight screw for cleaning, at least four inches in diameter.
