§ 153.097 LODGING HOUSES.
   (A)   Requirements. It shall be the duty of every person owning or having control of any lodging house within the city where ten or more rooms are kept for lodging purposes to keep exit signs burning in such manner so as to indicate the places of exit from such lodging house at all hours during the night, in such manner that such places of exit may be easily indicated to the occupants of such lodging house.
   (B)   Notice to be posted. It shall be the duty of every person owning or having control of any such lodging house as is mentioned in division (A) above, to provide written or printed notices and keep them posted in each of the rooms of such lodging house, which notices shall state the purpose for such exits and where they are located throughout the building.
   (C)   Violations. Any person who shall fail to comply with any of the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to penalty as provided in § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
