(A) Adoption. The city hereby adopts the latest edition of the Northwest Energy Code, as published by the Bonneville Power Administration, the Conversion Standard Equivalent Code to Chapter 53 of the Uniform Building Code, as published by the Bonneville Power Administration, and Appendix Chapter 53 of the Uniform Building Code, latest edition, as published by the International Conference of Building Officials.
(B) Copies on file. Three copies of the Northwest Energy Code, latest edition, and other codes as adopted in division (A) above, shall be duly certified and filed for use by the public in the office of the City Clerk. An additional copy of the adopted codes shall be maintained in the Building Department.
(C) Administration of codes. The codes adopted above will be administered in accordance with Chapters 1, 2, and 3 of the latest edition of the Uniform Building Code. It is the intent of the city that the cost of enforcement of the provisions and monetary reimbursement for early adoption of this code shall be provided by the Bonneville Power Administration.
(D) Violation.
(1) Each violation of this section or of any resolution, order, or ruling promulgated hereunder shall constitute a misdemeanor and may be punished as provided in § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
(2) Each day such violation continues to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
