§ 153.003 NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE.
   (A)   Adoption. There is hereby adopted, for the purpose of the safeguarding of persons and of buildings and their contents from hazards arising from the use of electricity within the city, the National Electrical Code, prepared by the National Fire Protection Association, and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as an ordinance of the city as fully as though set forth at length herein.
   (B)   Copies on file. Three copies of the National Electrical Code, latest edition, duly certified by the City Clerk shall be kept on file in his or her office for use and examination of and by the public.
   (C)   Violation. Any violation of the provisions contained within the National Electrical Code shall constitute a misdemeanor.
