§ 90.006 EXEMPTIONS.
   (A)   Police dogs. This chapter shall not apply to dogs or animals used by the Police Department or a law enforcement agency.
   (B)   Trespass; tort. No animal shall be declared vicious for injury or damage sustained by any person who was committing a willful trespass or other tort upon the premises of the animal’s owner.
   (C)   Teasing, tormenting, or assaulting. No animal shall be declared vicious for injury or damage sustained by any person who was teasing, tormenting, abusing, or assaulting the animal.
