§ 73.39 LIGHTING EQUIPMENT.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to ride a bicycle upon the streets, alleys, or public places of the city during the nighttime without having such bicycle equipped with a headlight attachment to the front thereof and a reflector at least one and one-half inches in diameter attached to the rear thereof. The headlight shall have a capacity sufficient to be seen at a distance of at least 300 feet and shall be lighted at all times said bicycle is ridden upon the streets, alleys, or public places of the city in the nighttime.
