If the owner of any real estate within the Town fails to destroy weeds prohibited by § 90.02 of this chapter, it shall be the duty of the Town Council to employ some suitable person to cut down and destroy such weeds. The expenses incurred with regard to weed cutting by order of the Town Council shall be a lien against such premises and may be entered upon the tax duplicate and collected as other taxes, or such lien may be foreclosed against the premises as in the case of mortgages.
