(A) No person shall, without lawful authority, attempt to or in fact alter, deface, injure, knock down or remove any official traffic-control device, any railroad sign or signal, any inscription shield or any insignia thereon, or any part thereof.
(B) Any person in violation of this section shall make restitution to the Town and pay the designated fine set forth in § 70.99 of this chapter.
