§ 31.06  CITY ADMINISTRATOR.
   (A)   Office of City Administrator.  The position of City Administrator is hereby created.
   (B)   Appointment.  The City Administrator shall be appointed by a majority vote of the elected City Council for an indefinite term.
   (C)   Removal. The City Administrator shall serve at the will of the City Council and may be removed or suspended by a majority vote of the elected City Council.
   (D)   Powers and duties.  The powers and duties of the City Administrator shall be those specifically defined in the job description for the position of City Administrator as adopted by the City Council.
   (E)   Bond.  The City Administrator shall furnish a surety bond to be approved by the City Council, which bond to be conditioned on the faithful performance of his or her duties.  The premium of the bond shall be paid by the city.
   (F)   Compensation. The City Administrator’s salary shall be determined by the City Council and shall be paid partially from the General Fund and partially from the Revenue Fund of the city. As a salaried and appointed employee, the City Administrator shall not be entitled to and shall not receive supplementary compensation in any form for any work performed outside the normal working hours of the position.
