§ 30.03  COMPENSATION.
   (A)   The rate of compensation for City Council members for the city is hereby continued and set at an amount per month to be set by Council from time to time, beginning with the first month following the month of installation, and ending the last month or fractional part of a month of service.
   (B)   The rate of compensation for the Mayor for the city is hereby continued and set at an amount per month to be set by Council from time to time, beginning with the first month following the month of installation and ending the last month or fractional part of a month of service.
   (C)   This section shall not preclude reimbursement for actual expenses incurred, in travel, meals, conferences and conventions, and other expenditures by the Mayor or Council, on behalf of the city, as are approved by the City Council.
   (D)   (1)   The City of Wake Village, Texas shall pay the monthly premiums for life insurance for the Mayor of the city, and shall also pay the monthly premiums for the health and accident insurance for the Mayor and the family of the Mayor, in the amounts presently issued to the Mayor.
      (2)   This payment of insurance premiums shall be in addition to the monthly payment to the Mayor of his or her salary.
      (3)   This payment of insurance premiums shall begin with the term of the Mayor elected in the April, 1979 elections, and shall continue to be paid for that and each succeeding term until changed by the City Council.
