For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
DEPENDENT MOBILE HOME. A mobile home which does not have a flush toilet and a bath or shower.
HUD-CODE MANUFACTURED HOME. A structure constructed on or after June 15, 1976, according to the rules of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, transportable in one or more sections, which, in the traveling mode, is eight body feet or more in width or 40 body feet in length, or, when erected on site, is 320 or more square feet, and which is built on a permanent chassis and designed to be used as a dwelling with or without a permanent foundation when connected to the required utilities, and includes the plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical systems. Anything less than the length and/or width specified in this paragraph shall not be allowed in a HUD-CODE MANUFACTURED HOME park.
INDEPENDENT MOBILE HOME. A mobile home which has a flush toilet, a bath or shower, and a sink.
LICENSEE. A person licensed to operate and maintain a mobile/HUD manufacturing home park under the provisions of this chapter.
MOBILE HOME. Any vehicle or similar portable structure having a foundation consisting of wheels or places for wheels, jacks, skirtings, or any other temporary contrivance, and so designed or constructed as to permit occupancy for dwelling or sleeping purposes.
MOBILE/HUD MANUFACTURING HOME PARK. Any plot of ground upon which facilities are provided for locating one or more mobile homes to be occupied for dwelling or sleeping purposes, regardless of whether or not a charge is made for such accommodation.
MOBILE/HUD MANUFACTURED HOME SPACE. A plot of ground within a mobile/HUD manufactured home park designed for the accommodation of one home.
NATURAL or ARTIFICIAL BARRIER. Any embankment, fence, hedge, or other feature that serves to block direct pedestrian access or visibility.
OPERATOR. Includes the person in charge of operating any mobile/HUD manufactured home park either under written or verbal lease, or any other arrangement whereby he or she exercises control over the premises.
OWNER. The person in whose name the title to the lot, block, tract, or parcel of land is shown to be.
PERMITTEE. Any person to whom a temporary permit is issued to maintain or operate a mobile/HUD manufactured home park under the provisions of this chapter.
PERSON. Any individual, firm, trust, partnership, association, or corporation.
