(A) Pursuant to Tex. Loc. Gov’t Code § 43.053, the city will provide municipal services to the annexed areas under a Municipal Service Plan, in accordance with the cited statute.
(B) The Municipal Service Plan shall include:
(1) A program under which the city will provide police and fire protection, solid waste collection, maintenance of water and wastewater facilities, maintenance of roads and streets to include lighting, maintenance of parks and playgrounds and the maintenance of any other publicly owned facility, building or service within the annexed area; and
(2) A program under which the city will initiate the acquisition and construction of any capital improvements necessary for providing the municipal services within the annexed area.
