Any person, firm, association, organization, or other entity seeking to do any of the acts enumerated in this chapter, or any other door-to-door activity, shall be required to obtain a permit from the City Secretary of the City of Wake Village, Texas. In order to obtain a permit, the permit seeker shall be required to disclose: his or her name and the full identity and street address of his or her organization; the full names and identities of all persons who will be engaged in the activity in the city; the nature of the proposed activity; and its duration. No person whose operation involves foodstuffs of any kind shall be granted a permit until he or she has complied with State and County Health Department laws and regulations.
