§ 71.15  LARGE TRUCKS; PARKING IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS.
   (A)   Definitions.
      (1)   RESIDENTIAL AREA. Any area, neighborhood, or street, where dwelling units, homes, and apartments are the prevailing use, either by actual utilization or zoning, in the area.
      (2)   VEHICLES OF ONE-TON SIZE.  Such vehicles as described by the Texas Revised Civil Statutes denoting size of vehicles for licensing by the State Department of Public Safety.
   (B)   Regulations. 
      (1)   No vehicle exceeding one ton in size will be parked on the public streets or rights-of-way of the city in a residential area, except for the purpose of pickup and delivery of merchandise by the vehicle. 
      (2)   Any person who parks such a vehicle, or allows such a vehicle to be or remain parked will be guilty of violating this section.
   (C)   Limitation of applicability.  This section will not apply to the parking of otherwise prohibited vehicles, in front of business establishments, that own or regularly utilize the vehicles in the course of their business.
