SEC. 2.  APPOINTMENT OF MUNICIPAL JUDGE.
   The court shall be presided over by a judge who shall be known as the municipal judge. The municipal judge shall be appointed every two (2) years by the mayor subject to confirmation by the council. The municipal judge shall hold office at the pleasure of the city council. The municipal judge shall receive such compensation as shall be prescribed by the city council.
