§ 38.53  TEXAS STATEWIDE EMERGENCY SERVICES PERSONNEL RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
   (A)   Election to participate in the Texas Statewide Emergency Service Personnel Retirement System through the Fire Fighter’s Pension Commission in Austin, Texas is hereby authorized by the City Council of the city.
   (B)   Participation in the Retirement System begins June 1, 2006.
