SEC. 3. NOMINATIONS.

Any citizen under Article II, Section 2 of this charter, desiring to have his/her name placed upon the official ballot for any election, may do so by filing the proper form in the office of the City secretary in compliance with state and federal law, signed by him/her self. In the city's general election, the filing period will be set by ordinance in accordance to state and federal election laws.
