The governing body of the City of Wake Village, Texas shall be a council composed of a Mayor and five council members to be known as the City Council of the City of Wake Village. The members of the City Council shall be elected from the City of Wake Village for two-year staggered terms with the Mayor, Place 1 and Place 2 running in odd number years and Place 3, Place 4, and Place 5 running in even number years.
