§ 34.53  FIRE CHIEF.
   The governing body of the city deems it advisable and in the best interest of the city to create the permanent position of Fire chief of the Wake Village Fire Department. The position of Fire Chief shall be compensated as determined by the governing body from time to time. The duties of the Fire Chief shall be prescribed by the governing body.
