(A) This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the “Noise Pollution Ordinance of Wake County.” This chapter applies to the control of all noise originating within the unincorporated limits of Wake County.
(B) The Wake County Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) regulates non-residential uses and subjects them to site performance standards, which include noise limitations. When the UDO performance standards are applied, those non-residential uses are not subject to the standards specified in this chapter.
