(A) For the purpose of enforcing the provisions of § 98.15, the Mayor of the City, or the Chief of Police of the city, or the Chief of Police's deputy, or the Director of Parks and Recreation, are charged with enforcement of this chapter, and to that end shall have the authority to enter upon private property at all reasonable hours for purposes of inspecting trees thereon, and may remove such specimens as are required for purposes of analysis to determine whether or not the same are infected. It shall be unlawful for any person to prevent them from entering on private property for purposes of carrying out their duties under this chapter, or to interfere with them in the lawful performance of their duties under the provisions of this chapter.
(B) Pursuant to Neb. RS 17-555, any property owner receiving a notice pursuant to § 94.24 shall be given 30 days to abate and remove such nuisance.
