8-3-1: SATELLITE EARTH STATION OR DISH ANTENNAS:
   A.   Permit Required; Fee: It shall be unlawful to install satellite earth stations or dish antennas (hereinafter referred to as satellite antennas) without a permit from the building inspector of the village. The permit fee is hereby established at ten dollars ($10.00).
   B.   Permit Regulations: No permit for installation of a satellite antenna shall be issued unless the installation is in compliance with the following regulations:
      1.   Location: Satellite antennas shall be installed only in the rear yards of lots as defined in title 10 of this code.
      2.   Setbacks: The satellite antennas shall be installed within the lot lines established by title 10 of this code.
      3.   Size Limitation: No satellite antenna shall exceed twelve feet (12') in diameter and exceed fifteen feet (15') in height. Not more than one satellite antenna shall be installed on any residential zoned lot in the village.
      4.   Screening: Satellite antennas installed in residential zoned lots or on lots adjoining residential zoned properties shall be screened from view of adjacent landowners by fencing, plant material or earth berms not less than six feet (6') in height. (Ord. 85-196, 7-8-1985)
   C.   Penalty: Any violation of this section shall subject the violator to the penalties set forth in section 1-4-1 of this code. (1996 Code)
