7-1-2: SPILLING MATERIALS ON STREETS:
   A.   Vehicle To Be Tight: Any person engaged in transporting upon any street material likely to shift, fall or be blown upon the streets shall convey and carry the same in a tight body.
   B.   Overloading: No person shall cause any vehicle to be loaded so that the contents can be scattered in any street or any other public place.
   C.   Dirt From Tires: No person shall cause the wheels of any car or vehicle to become covered or clogged with earth in such a manner that such earth is scattered on any street or any other public place. It shall be the duty of any person in control of any such cart or vehicle to gather up and remove such earth at once. (Ord. 76, 7-1-1974)
   D.   Repair Of Damage: If any person, by violation of the terms of this section, breaks or otherwise injures any street or causes debris to be scattered on streets of the village, they shall, within twenty four (24) hours after being notified by the village of such offense, cause the same to be repaired, mended and cleaned under the direction and to the satisfaction of the compliance officer.    E.   Sticky Or Foreign Substance: No person shall drive or move a vehicle in such a manner to cause any sticky substance or other foreign matter to be deposited upon or attached to any public street or private property. (Ord. 2004-653, 3-2-2004)
   F.   Penalty: Any violation of this section shall subject the violator to the penalties set forth in section 1-4-1 of this code. (1996 Code; amd. Ord. 2004-653, 3-2-2004)
