§ 137.13 BOWS AND ARROWS.
   (A)   No person shall discharge a bow and arrow capable of inflicting injury upon another person.
   (B)   It is an affirmative defense to a charge under this section that any of the following apply:
      (1)   The bow and arrow are used in a generally accepted industrial or construction use; including but not limited to pole construction, providing that generally accepted precautions are taken to reduce the danger of injury to persons.
      (2)   The bow and arrow are being handled or used on a range maintained in accordance with the most recent archer and bowhunter range guidelines of the National Field Archery Association, and under the supervision and control of a competent adult.
   (C)   Except as otherwise provided in this division, a violation of this section is a minor misdemeanor. If the offender persists in a violation of this section after a warning or request to desist or has previously been convicted of a violation of this section, then a violation of this section is a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
