§ 97.53 SITE ADDRESS.
   (A)   The owner of any building upon any street shall place or cause to be placed the street address assigned by the City Engineer in a conspicuous place on the front of such building. The number shall be a minimum of three and one half inches high if placed prior to January 1, 2012 or four inches high if placed on or after January 1, 2012, shall be in contrasting color with the front of the building, and shall not be in script. If the building is more than 70 feet from the curb or more than 55 feet from the right of way, the number shall also be displayed at the driveway within 20 feet of the street right of way. The provisions of this section apply to main buildings built either before or after its effective date and do not apply to accessory buildings such as garages or storage buildings.
   (B)   Whoever violates the provisions of this section shall be fined not to exceed $50 and a separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation continues or occurs.
