§ 96.03 PLANTING PERMIT REQUIRED.
   No tree or shrub shall be planted upon any public street, alley, park or other public grounds unless a permit is first obtained from the Director of Public Service with the approval of the Shade Tree Commission. No permits shall be granted for the following trees or shrubs which are inappropriate to be planted in certain areas without the express permission of the Shade Tree Commission:
Acer Saccharinum (Silver Maple)
Acer Negundo (Box Elder)
Ailanthus Glandulesa (Tree of Heaven)
Catalpa (All species and varieties)
Populus (All species and varieties)
Salix (All species and varieties)
Ulmus Pumila (Asiatic or Chinese Elm).
