§ 70.14 TRAFFIC-CONTROL MAP AND FILE.
   (A)   Traffic-control map. There is established a traffic-control map which shall reflect by legend and proper designation the municipality's currently existing:
      (1)   Traffic-control signals.
      (2)   Through streets and state routes.
      (3)   One-way streets and alleys.
      (4)   Stop intersections.
      (5)   Yield right-of-way intersections.
      (6)   Commercial and passenger loading zones.
      (7)   Prohibited and limited parking areas.
      (8)   Angle parking areas.
      (9)   Parking meter areas.

   (B)   Traffic-control file. There is established a traffic-control file which shall list in chart form all types of traffic-control designation specified in division (A) above and shall also include:
      (1)   Adequate description of the street or area affected.
      (2)   Authorizing amendment number and effective date.
      (3)   Date when official signs, signals, markings or parking meters were erected or placed in proper position.
      (4)   Date when designation was recorded upon traffic-control map.

   (C)   Incorporation, maintenance and amendments.
      (1)   The traffic-control map and file, existing as of the date of passage of this traffic code, is incorporated as a part of this traffic code. The map and file shall be prepared and maintained to date by the Police Department.
      (2)   Council may amend the traffic-control map and file, but no such amendment shall be enforceable until after the effective date of the amendment and the official signs, signals, markings or parking meters are erected or placed in proper position. The Police Department upon receipt of a copy of the amendment shall record the information of the file and amend the map to conform with the amendment provisions.
