§ 35.10 LIFE INSURANCE BENEFITS.
   (A)   The city shall obtain life insurance coverage and accidental death and dismemberment coverage as follows:
      (1)   All full-time employees shall receive $40,000 of term life insurance;
      (2)   All full-time employees shall receive $40,000 of accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
   (B)   The term life insurance and the accidental death and dismemberment coverage for full-time employees shall begin on the first day of the month following the employee's date of hire.
   (C)   The City Auditor shall pay such premiums as they fall due from applicable insurance accounts.
   (D)   Volunteer firefighters and EMT volunteers shall receive a maximum of $50,000 in emergency responder blanket accident insurance coverage (with lower maximums for some categories of loss other than death). The effective date of the coverage for volunteer firefighters and EMT volunteers will begin with the date of hire.
