§ 33.50 ESTABLISHMENT.
   There shall be a Senior Citizens Commission to advise the Director of Public Service on all matters related to city services for senior citizens, to make budget recommendations for senior citizens activities, to supervise and evaluate city employees involved in providing services to senior citizens and to perform any other necessary and appropriate functions related to senior citizens. This Commission shall consist of seven members appointed by the Mayor. The term of one member shall expire on December 31 of 2006, 2007, and 2009 and the terms of two members shall expire on December 31 of 2008 and 2010. Subsequent terms shall each be for five years. The Commission shall meet at least every other month and shall report to the Mayor each year by January 31 about activities for senior citizens during the preceding year and about recommendations for future activities.
