§ 32.19 MEMBERSHIP; RULES AND REGULATIONS.
   The Police Department shall consist of such members and employees with appropriate rank, salary, allowances and other remunerations as established by ordinance. All general laws of the state shall apply to such members and employees of the Department, and such Department shall at all times be maintained under the State Civil Service Laws, and the applicable rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission of the city not inconsistent with state law.
