§ 10.18 PUBLIC RECORDS POLICY.
   In order to comply with the requirement of R.C. § 149.43(E)(1) that the city adopt a public records policy, the following provisions shall constitute the public records policy of the city:
   (A)   The city shall comply with R.C. § 149.43 and any other related statutory provisions relevant to responding to public records requests.
   (B)   A copy of each current records retention schedule of the city shall be on file and available for public inspection at the office of the Clerk of the City Council.
   (C)   The cost that may be charged for paper copies of records pursuant to R.C. § 149.43(B)(1) is hereby established as being $0.05 per page for paper copies and $1 per disc for downloading computer files to a compact disc. Paper copies consisting of fewer than 50 pages may be provided without charge. The cost of copies for large format maps, plans and plats shall be charged at the current rate established by the Director of Public Service based on current material costs. City officers or employees copying public records who do not accept payments in the typical course of their duties may require any payment for copies to be made at the utilities payment counter at city hall and a copy of the receipt presented to the city officer or employee who copies the record.
