§ 158.021 ALLOWED MINE LOCATIONS.
   (A)   New mines are allowed to locate in any location of the city where Ch. 162 of this code of ordinances allows them as permitted, conditional or interim uses with the issuance of a permit under this section.
   (B)   Existing mines (defined as “legal non-conforming” uses under Ch. 162 of this code of ordinances) may continue to operate in their existing location even when not permitted, conditional or interim in their zoning district. However, they are not allowed to expand beyond the boundaries of the parcel under which the mine has ownership, contract or lease at the time it became non-conforming under this or other city ordinance, or change in the any manner as indicated in § 158.003 of this chapter.
