(A) The applicant for a permit under this chapter shall file with the City Clerk a policy or policies of insurance, insuring the applicant against liability imposed by law in the amount of $100,000 because of bodily injury to or death of one person per accident, $250,000 because of bodily injury to or death of more than one person per accident and $50,000 property damage liability per accident.
(B) The policy of insurance shall provide that it may not be cancelled by the insurer, except upon written notice to the city.
(C) If the insurance policy is cancelled, the permit is suspended until the insurance has been reinstated.
