The Township Committee, believing that certain action is required to preserve and safeguard the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the township and being desirous of providing for the aforesaid, does hereby enact this subchapter forbidding public fighting, assault and battery upon other persons and disturbances caused either while drunk or sober, which would tend to disturb the peace and quiet and good order of the community.
