(A) The members of the Citizens Cultural and Diversity Advisory Committee shall be appointed by the Township Committee. Each member shall be a citizen of the United States of America, a qualified voter of the State of New Jersey. Each member shall be appointed for a term of three years; provided, however, that the schedule of appointments and terms thereof shall be staggered as follows: four members shall be appointed to serve until December 31, 2012; five members shall be appointed to serve until December 31, 2013; and five members shall be appointed to serve until December 31, 2014. Thereafter, each appointment shall be for a three-year term until the appointment and qualification of such member’s successor. A vacancy on the Committee occurring other than by expiration of a term shall be filled for the unexpired term in the same manner as the original appointment for the remainder of the term of the vacating member.
(B) All members of the Committee shall be residents of the Township.
