§ 32.118 PURPOSE; POWERS AND DUTIES.
   The Board is established to assist in the development and implementation of recreation programs for residents of the Township. In order to carry out these purposes, the Board shall have the following functions:
   (A)   To promote the recreational programs and facilities of the Township.
   (B)   To plan and implement local recreational programs available to residents of all ages within the Township, and to inform the public about such programs.
   (C)   To recommend to the Mayor and Township Committee plans and programs for the use of Township recreational facilities, including playgrounds.
   (D)   To act as a coordinating agency to the community on recreational matters and as a liaison between the Township and local, regional, county or state recreational groups, public or private.
   (E)   To recommend to the Township Committee the establishment of recreational programs to meet the needs of the residents of the Township.
