There is hereby created a Recreation Advisory Board consisting of members to be appointed by the Township Committee. All members of the Board shall be residents of the Township. The membership of the Recreation Advisory Board shall include five at-large members as well as a representative of each recreational group operating in the Township that has been approved by the at-large members of this Board and approved by Township Committee, in a list, which shall be reviewed by the at-large members at least annually, identified as the "Approved Voorhees Recreational Groups List". The appointment of the members of the Approved Recreational Groups (the "Liaisons") to this Board shall be based upon the recommendation of the applicable Approved Recreational Group and approved by the Township Committeeperson who is the Director of Parks and Recreation. No member of the Board shall receive any compensation for his or her services.
