§ 32.002 ABSENTEEISM.
   (A)   The member of any board or committee appointed by the Mayor and/or the Mayor and Township Committee may be removed for absenteeism, and the vacancy created by such removal shall be filled in the same manner as originally appointed.
   (B)   While retaining all other rights of removal existing by reason of statutory provision or common law, it is the intent of this subchapter to include absenteeism as a cause for removal.
   (C)   For the purposes of this subchapter, any member who fails to attend three successive regularly scheduled meetings or work sessions or more than one-third of the regularly scheduled meetings or work sessions in any three-month period, whichever is greater, may be removed from such board or committee.
