12.32.190    Tennis and pickleball courts – prohibited activities.
   A.   It is unlawful for any person upon any tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, racquetball or other sport court owned or controlled by the city to engage in any activity other than playing or practicing the sport for which the court is intended and/or so designated, including, but not limited to, roller skating or riding upon a skateboard, powered or unpowered unicycle or bicycle, or personal conveyance device, without the prior authorization of the City Manager or designee.
   B.   The City Manager or designee may authorize, at certain designated times and locations, by posting a sign or by issuing a permit, the use of the tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, racquetball or other sport courts owned or controlled by the city for an activity other than playing or practicing the sport for which the court is intended and/or so designated, so long as such activity will not interfere with organized city recreation programs, risk damage to the courts or cause annoyance or disturbance to the surrounding neighborhood.
