Editor's note:
The United States District Court (Central District of California) recently offered an opinion regarding the legal validity of city ordinances prohibiting vehicles to be parked on a roadway displaying a "for sale" sign. The United States District Court found that prohibiting the display of such a sign in a vehicle on a roadway may be a First Amendment violation of free speech and has issued a preliminary injunction against the City of Los Angeles, forbidding them to issue citations for that violation.
