Dog and cat licenses shall be issued on each succeeding anniversary date of the original license. A license shall expire one year from the date of issue, except when the performance of the rabies vaccination expires prior to that date. A new license anniversary date will begin upon renewal of the rabies vaccination. (Prior code § 4597)
