The golf cart must be equipped with two operating headlights (one on each side of the front of the golf cart), tail lights (one on each side of the rear of the golf cart) visible from a distance of 500 feet, and brake lights; a slow moving vehicle placard; a rear view mirror; seat belts for all occupants and child restraint when appropriate; a safety flag and/or strobe light extending five feet above the rear fender shall be properly displayed at all times.
