Permit fee to locate a dumpster on city or public property shall be $50 and issued by the office of the City Inspector. Dumpster permits are valid for a period of 30 days from date of issue. Prior to the issuance of a permit, the location must be approved by the City Inspector or Police Department. Dumpsters requiring more than 30 days on location shall apply for an extension to the office of the City Inspector prior to the expiration of the initial permit. Extensions may be granted subject to the discretion of the City Inspector and may not be for a period in excess of ten additional days and with an additional $25 extension fee.
